Detroit Census Confirms a Desertion Like No Other

Fabrizio Costantini for The New York Times
Abandoned homes on the northeast side of Detroit tell the story of a city whose residents have fled in record numbers.
...my reaction to the article
I live (near) and work in Detroit and see a different story. Detroit may have lost much of its population but it is re-inventing itself and on the way to a huge come-back. I look forward to the day that more positive than negative stories come out of this city. We're hoping to move into the city soon - pending family circumstances to be more involved in its re-development and growth. I Love Detroit.
